Checking scans
Before using the scanner at the checkout, check its connection, the input language layout, and how it reads codes from your labels. Use samples with small print, different materials, and manufacturer barcodes. The video shows the Proton ICS-7190 as an example of equipment from its time, not as a recommendation to buy this particular model today.
Using the scanner in inventory management
In Torgsoft, the scanner sends a code to find a product card during receiving, sales, or stock checks. After scanning, check the selected item and quantity before posting the document. If you use another modern scanner, configure it according to its own instructions and test it at your workplace.
