Receiving Goods and Product Cards
To get started with inventory, define the structure of product types and inventory centers. In the incoming invoice, check the supplier, quantity, and purchase price, then set the retail price and the required product attributes. If an assortment includes sizes or colors, do not combine variants in one stock balance. Print a price tag and check that its barcode opens the correct product card.
Sales and Subsequent Stock Movements
Process a test sale and check the price and stock balance change. Record a customer return with a linked document, and handle transfers between locations as a separate operation so you can see stock at each store. The 2014 webinar demonstrates the full basic cycle using an old interface; check the current help documentation for current command names.
