What the comparison shows
The video tests scanners with different labels. Consider not only scanning speed, but also barcode types, their size, print condition, and distance from the product. To scan codes on a screen or two-dimensional labels, you need a device that supports the relevant format.
Check before buying
Take samples of your own labels and test them at checkout and in warehouse conditions. Find out how the device connects to the workstation and whether it is convenient for scanning your products. The models shown in the 2013 video may no longer be sold; choose current equipment based on your store’s actual requirements.
