This video is from 2017. The program’s design has changed significantly, and it has gained more features. However, the way many modes work has stayed the same or is very similar. We are updating the knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been available exclusively in Ukrainian.

Data archiving

The webinar starts with manually creating a database archive and configuring automatic archiving. In the current “File — Archiving” menu, you can save the database and choose where to store the archive. Automatic copies are configured separately, and you should periodically check that they are being created. Store the archive somewhere accessible to the person responsible, and check that it can be restored by following the instructions; a single file on a work computer is not a substitute for backup storage.

Users, roles, and restrictions

Create a personal account for each employee and assign a role. Then configure access to the accounting center, purchase prices, and actions in Sales: changing prices, cancelling a sale, and manually selecting an item or customer. Review both the individual user’s rights and the general role settings. Grant only the actions needed for the employee’s work, and check the result by signing in as that user.
