This video is from 2014. The program’s design has changed considerably, and it now has more features. However, the way many modes work has stayed the same or remained very similar. We are updating our knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been available only in Ukrainian.
Workstations and server
Before buying equipment, determine the number of retail locations and employees who will use the program at the same time. Each workstation needs a computer with a supported version of Windows and a stable connection to the database. For multiple users, plan separately for server hosting, backups, and access during connection outages.
Scanner, printer, and license
Choose a barcode scanner, receipt printer, and label printer to suit the store’s actual operations. Before purchasing, check that the specific models and required options meet Torgsoft’s current requirements. The number of licenses depends on the workstations and connection method. The 2014 webinar explains the selection criteria, but the models and technical requirements it lists should no longer be considered current.
