Preparing the tool
A tagging gun attaches a hang tag to clothing and other textiles. Before starting, make sure the needle is suitable for the fabric, installed correctly, and that the fastener strip is fed into the mechanism. Work on an area of the item where a puncture will not damage the material and the tag will not interfere with trying it on.
Marking the product
Print a tag with the correct name, price, and barcode, then attach it and check that it is secure. Do not pierce leather, delicate fabrics, or products for which this type of marking is prohibited. The 2018 video shows the mechanical process; Torgsoft separately lets you configure the content and printing of the tag itself.
