This video is from 2019. The program’s design has changed considerably, and it has gained more features. However, how many modes work has stayed the same or very similar. We are updating our knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been in Ukrainian only.
Preparing to update
Before updating, check the current software version and the requirements for the target release. If the store operates on several computers or exchanges data with other locations, finish synchronization first. Save a verified backup of the database and working directory, and make sure there is enough disk space. Do not start installation while staff are making sales.
Installation and checks
Current versions of Torgsoft provide an in-program update check; when the program restarts, the owner may be prompted to install the downloaded package. Follow the sequence specified for your version, and do not skip any required intermediate updates. After launch, check the version, database access, cash register operation, and any required integrations. The 2019 video shows an earlier interface, so check the current instructions for the specific buttons.
