Bulk messaging to customers — is an additional Torgsoft option that allows you to send SMS, Viber and e-mail messages to your customer database directly from the accounting program.
The option is needed by businesses that have accumulated a customer database but do not use it for repeat sales. Instead of separate services and manual copying of phone numbers, you launch a mailing about a promotion, reminder, birthday greeting or individual offer from the same system where product and customer records are kept. Customers can be selected by age, date of birth, card type, purchase amount and activity, and message templates can be saved for reuse.
As a result, the customer database turns into a sales tool: you bring back customers who have not visited for a long time, inform them about shipments and payments without unnecessary calls, and see for each campaign how many receipts and how much revenue it generated. The option works with TurboSMS, AlfaSMS and other services; the license is valid for 1 year.

What bulk SMS, Viber and e-mail messaging is
Bulk messaging — is sending a message to a group of customers at once according to a selected filter. In Torgsoft, this is done within the accounting program: you do not export the database to an external service, but create a list of customers based on real customer card data and send them SMS, Viber or e-mail messages. The option supports both promotional mailings (promotions, discounts, news) and automatic service notifications (invoice, waybill number, repair status, bonus reminders).
Basic concepts
Channel
The message delivery method: SMS, Viber or e-mail. The channel is set in the template or mailing campaign.
Template
A prepared message text with variables (name, discount, bonus balance). It is saved and reused.
Segment
A selected group of customers by filter: by age, date of birth, purchase amount, card type or city.
Transactional message
A service message without advertising: invoice, payment, TTN number, card verification code.
Hybrid sending
First, the message is sent to Viber, and if the customer does not use it — it is automatically delivered as an SMS.
Alpha name
Signing a message with your own brand instead of the sender's phone number.

Who does not need it. If you do not maintain a customer database and do not collect customer contacts, there is no one to send bulk messages to. In this case, it is worth first starting to record customers in the program, and connecting the option later.

- A customer database of 100 contacts or more that can be segmented by purchases.
- There are repeat sales and seasonal promotions that customers need to be reminded about.

What tasks the option solves
What it looks like before and after
Before
The customer database is stored in the program but remains unused. Promotions are advertised only on social networks, where only part of the audience sees them. The manager dictates waybill numbers and payment details by phone, sometimes forgets, and the product sits at the post office for weeks.
After
The promotion mailing goes personally to each customer via SMS or Viber. The TTN number is delivered automatically after the declaration number is filled in. The customer receives payment details and payment confirmation by message, and you see delivery statistics and campaign results.
How it works: 5 steps
Choose a mailing service. For SMS and Viber, connect TurboSMS, AlfaSMS or another service available in the program. For e-mail, choose a delivery method: Outlook, SMTP or the SendGrid service.
Create a template. In the «Bulk mailing template settings» tab, set the language, type (SMS or e-mail) and category: standard, by invoice, by contact, by waybill, birthday greeting, by repair or consignor notification.
Create a mailing. In the «Bulk mailings» tab, specify the name, date, time and description, select a template and sending service.
Select customers. In the «Marketing → Bulk mailing → Customers» menu, filter the database by full name, discount percentage, phone, e-mail, city, address, card type or region. Customers can also be added from the «Analysis → Customer activity analysis» form.
Send and analyze. Click «Create bulk mailing» and «Send messages», then review delivery statuses and results in the analysis mode.
Important. In the program, the option is displayed as «Bulk mailing». The cost of SMS and Viber messages is paid on the side of the external mailing service and is not included in the option price. E-mail via Outlook or your own SMTP is not charged as SMS; the mail service may have its own limits or tariffs.

Saving on SMS length and cost
The cost of an SMS depends on the number of characters and text encoding. Torgsoft helps fit more information into one message through transliteration.
One SMS contains 160 Latin characters or 70 Cyrillic characters. Torgsoft — is a program for sending SMS from a computer that can automatically transliterate text so that as much information as possible fits into one message.
If an SMS message exceeds the specified length, it is split into parts, and each part is sent and charged as a separate message.
Please note. TurboSMS treats some characters as Cyrillic and some as Latin. This directly affects the cost of messages.

Scenarios by niche
Cosmetics store
The owner selects customers who bought hair dye but did not buy a mask, and sends them an offer with a discount specifically on the mask. This creates an upsell of a related product.
Online clothing store
After the invoice is created, the buyer automatically receives the Nova Poshta TTN number. The manager does not need to call or copy the number manually.
Store with bonuses
In combination with the «Bonuses with a limited validity period» option, the scheduled task «Automatic calculation and mailing» works. A mailing with a reminder and invitation to the store can be prepared for customers with bonuses.
Example
The example is illustrative. A clothing store collected a database of regular customers, but used it only for occasional calls about new arrivals. After connecting the option, the owner configured three templates: birthday greeting, seasonal sale reminder and automatic TTN number sending.
The sale mailing was received by customers who had purchased during the last year. In the bulk mailing analysis mode, the owner saw how many of them came to the store and how much revenue in receipts the campaign generated. Waybill numbers began to arrive automatically, so situations disappeared where goods stayed at the post office because of a manager's forgetfulness.

How to connect
- In the program, go to «Settings → List of additional options».

How to automatically greet customers on their birthday
Create a greeting template and specify in the settings how many days before the event, or on the birthday itself, the customer will receive the message. After that, the program will send greetings automatically.
How to remind customers about the bonus validity period
The reminder works in combination with the «Bonuses with a limited validity period» option: after its activation, the scheduled task «Automatic calculation and mailing» is created. A mailing to customers with bonuses can be prepared by selecting them using the available filters.
How to take customer consent for messages into account
The customer card contains consent to receive information by SMS and e-mail. By removing consent for promotional SMS, you exclude the customer from promotional campaigns. Service messages (TTN number, payment, card code, repair status) are sent separately according to the corresponding templates.
How to automate sending waybill numbers
In the message settings, select sending «After the declaration number is filled in» and the method «Automatically». After the TTN number is filled in and the invoice is saved, the message is sent to the customer. It can be resent manually.
Can messages be sent in different languages
Yes. The communication language is specified in the customer card, and several language templates are prepared in the mailing. The program sends each customer the text in their language.
How to evaluate whether a promotional mailing worked
In the «Bulk mailing analysis» mode, select the campaign and see how many receipts were issued to these customers after receiving the advertisement and how much revenue it brought.
What statistics Viber mailing provides
For promotional Viber mailings, the program shows the statuses «Sent», «Delivered», «Read» and «Link click» and automatically calculates their percentage ratio.
How to test the option for free
In the «Settings → List of additional options» mode, select the mailing option and click «Activate for 30 days». After purchase, all settings are saved.
