Customer Profile and Binotel Calls — is an additional Torgsoft option that keeps the history of purchases and customer interests, adds reminders, and shows the customer profile on the screen during a call via Binotel telephony. In the program, this function is called «Customer Interaction System».

The option is useful for online stores, retail chains, service businesses, and B2B companies where managers communicate with customers by phone every day. It solves common pain points: a forgotten call and a lost buyer, an unclear status of an agreement, impersonal mailings «to everyone at once», and lack of control over managers’ work. This is not a third-party CRM — the data is already in your accounting program, so there is nothing to synchronize.

As a result, you see who is calling, what the person bought before, and when it is worth contacting them again. The contact history remains in the company even after staff changes, and customers’ interests become the basis for personal offers. The option works on Torgsoft Ultra and Terminal licenses. The license is valid for 1 year.

What a customer accounting program in Torgsoft is

«Customer Profile and Binotel Calls» is an add-on to the Torgsoft customer database that turns scattered contacts into a manageable process. The program stores purchase history, records contacts, notes, calls, and reminders, and shows customer data directly in the incoming call window. The customer card, sales, and warehouse are already in one system, so you do not need a separate CRM.

Who does not need it. If you have one or two customers per week, no phone sales, and do not maintain a customer database, Torgsoft’s basic functionality will be enough. The option reveals its value where there are many customers and keeping agreements in your head is no longer possible.

How it works: 5 steps

Activate the option. Settings — Parameters — Additional options — Customer Interaction System. Interests and reminders will appear in the Marketing menu.

Create interests. In Marketing — Interests, add preferences, for example «Sports», and link them to product types from your assortment.

Fill in interests based on purchases. In Marketing — Customers, click «Fill in interests based on purchases» — the program will assign preferences according to sales history.

Set up reminders. In the «Contact» window (Marketing — Contacts and reminders), enable the «Reminder» switch and specify the date — the task will appear on the required day.

Connect Binotel. Enter the API and WebSocket keys received from Binotel technical support and set user parameters using the «Set Binotel settings» button (Settings — Users).

Important. The call log is synchronized with the Binotel server: even if Torgsoft was turned off, calls will be loaded at the next launch. Loading calls for downtime works only after your IP address is added to the whitelist — this is configured through Binotel technical support.

Frequently asked questions

Which licenses does the option work on?

The «Customer Profile and Binotel Calls» option is available on Torgsoft Ultra and Terminal licenses. It is not included in the Start license.

Can it be used without IP telephony?

Yes, you can maintain the customer database, purchase history, reminders, and interests without Binotel. Telephony is needed only for automatic number identification, the call window, and the call log.

Where can I get the data for connecting Binotel?

The connection parameters are issued by Binotel technical support: API and WebSocket keys are required. They are entered in the option settings and for a specific user.

How can interests be automatically assigned to customers?

Create interests and link product types to them, then in Marketing — Customers click «Fill in interests based on purchases». The program will assign preferences according to purchase history.

What does the manager see during a call?

The Binotel window displays the customer’s full name and number, last contact, and tabs with invoices, delivery notes, purchases, and calls. From there, you can go to the customer card or to the «Trade with invoicing» mode.

Can I call a customer directly from the program?

Yes. After setting up the internal number, the «Call» button appears in the customer card, call log, customer list, contacts, and order. The call is launched through a softphone, for example eyeBeam.

How can I see missed calls?

In Marketing — Call log, enable the «Show missed calls» filter. Unanswered calls that have not yet been followed up are marked in red.

How does the 1-year license work?

The option is paid annually. Torgsoft stores the customer database and purchase history locally in your database. Check the specific terms of license renewal and access to option functions after the term expires with the sales department before purchasing.

Can I transfer a customer database from Excel?

Yes, Torgsoft has an import function. A list of customers with contacts can be uploaded from Excel or Google Sheets and used immediately.

Is the database protected from leakage?

Yes. Flexible access rights allow you to restrict visibility of other people’s customers, hide phone numbers, and prohibit export. This is a basic Torgsoft mechanism that also works for customer management.

Is it difficult to train staff?

The main thing is the discipline of entering data. If an employee can issue an invoice in Torgsoft, they will also master working with contacts and reminders. The option will not help if agreements are not recorded.
