If the following message appears in Torgsoft when reading a new key for working with the pECR:
Error loading key certificates.
Certificate not found.
Check that the specified CA address is correct.
This means that you need to update the cryptographic libraries on the PC/server with Torgsoft, which uses them to work with keys, key certificates, and the pECR itself.
To resolve this issue, complete 3 steps:
Step 1. Download the installation file
Click the link below to download the current version of the cryptographic libraries:
https://iit.com.ua/download/productfiles/EUInstall.exe (The file is usually saved to your default «Downloads» folder).
Step 2. Install the update
Find the downloaded EUInstall.exe file and run it by right-clicking and selecting “Run as administrator” in the context menu. Complete the standard installation process by following the system prompts and clicking «Next». The previous version of the libraries will be replaced automatically; you do not need to delete anything beforehand.
Step 3. Restart the computer
For the changes to take effect, be sure to restart the computer where Torgsoft is installed.
Important note for networks. If you work in Torgsoft remotely, have a terminal license, and connect through a Remote Desktop shortcut, you need to restart the main server computer where the libraries are being reinstalled.
After restarting, launch Torgsoft — the error will disappear, and you will be able to continue working with the pECR as usual. If you have any questions, you can always contact our technical support service.
What should you do if the pECR does not connect after updating the libraries?
If, after updating the cryptographic libraries, the software ECR does not connect or displays errors (most often these are messages such as «Operation not supported», «Cryptographic module initialization error», «[EUSignCP.dll] file not found», or «Library not initialized»), the issue is usually caused by a lost path to the files or lack of access rights to the updated Windows system folder.
To restore pECR operation, follow these steps:
Step 1. Re-select the path to the libraries in Torgsoft
After the update, the program may «lose» the path to the system files, so you need to specify it again.
-
Open Torgsoft and go to «Settings» ➔ «Software ECR».
-
Find the field «Cryptographic libraries location directory».
-
Click the folder selection button (with three dots) and specify the path to the libraries folder again. Usually, this is the EndUser folder at C:\Program Files\Institute of Informational Technologies\Certificate Authority-1.3\EndUser or a similar path.
Step 2. Grant full access to the libraries folder
Windows, or antivirus software, may block Torgsoft access to the new files after the update.
-
Open File Explorer and find the folder where the libraries are installed, the same EndUser folder.
-
Right-click this folder and select «Properties».
-
Go to the «Security» tab and click «Edit».
-
Click «Add», enter the word Everyone, and click «OK».
-
Select the added «Everyone» group, tick «Full control» in the lower window, and click «OK» to save. (Note: if you work with the pECR over a local network, shared network access must also be granted to this folder).
Step 3. Restart Torgsoft
After completing these actions, be sure to close and launch the program again.
After restarting, try opening a shift on the pECR or performing a test sale — the error should disappear. If the connection is still not established, contact Torgsoft technical support so that a specialist can connect remotely and check the settings.
