Question 1: how is the software PRO registered with the tax office?
Answer: the software PRO is registered to a specific business unit (point of sale) of the taxpayer. Each registered cash register receives its own unique fiscal number. One enterprise can have many registered software PROs for different cash registers.
Question 2: how does the licensing of the "Software PRO" option from Torgsoft work?
Answer: the option is purchased for each cash register separately (one cash register = one paid software PRO option). According to current rules, the option is provided exclusively under a yearly subscription model (its cost is UAH 3990 per year). Those users who purchased this option earlier (before subscriptions were introduced) retain it permanently without additional payments.
Question 3: how many sole traders or enterprises can be managed in one Torgsoft program?
Answer: in the basic version of Torgsoft "Start", accounting can be kept for only one enterprise (one sole trader). In the "Ultra" and "Terminal" versions, you can maintain joint accounting of several enterprises in one database.
Question 4: what electronic key formats (QES) are suitable for working with the Torgsoft software PRO?
Answer: the program supports keys of the tax service (ACSK IDD DPS) in the key-6.dat format, keys of ACSK "PrivatBank" (*.jks format), ACSK "Ukraine" (*.zs2 format), as well as keys in the *.pfx format.
Question 5: is it possible to use only one "Software PRO" option from Torgsoft to sell goods of several sole traders on one cash register?
Answer: yes, in the "Ultra" and "Terminal" versions. If you have only one physical workplace (cash register), you buy only one Torgsoft option. You can add the fiscal numbers of different sole traders registered with the DPS into the program and set up automatic (by product type) or manual distribution of receipts, depending on whose product is being sold.
Question 6: is it possible to use one purchased Torgsoft "Software PRO" option on several cash registers?
Answer: no. The option is licensed per workplace. As many cash registers use the software PRO — that many options must be purchased.
Question 7: what to do if the license for Torgsoft is registered to one person, but fiscal receipts need to be sent from another sole trader?
Answer: this is acceptable and is a standard situation. The license agreement and invoices for the program or options are always issued to the legal owner of the software. However, within the program itself, the software PRO can be easily configured for any required sole trader.
Question 8: does the software PRO or Torgsoft license have a strict binding to the "hardware" (a specific computer)?
Answer: the software PRO is registered with the tax office to a business unit, not to a computer. The Torgsoft license also belongs to a specific owner and is not permanently tied to the equipment. If the computer breaks, you can transfer the database to a new PC and reissue the license key for free through technical support.
Question 9: is it possible to use one director's key (sole trader) simultaneously at different retail outlets?
Answer: no. Simultaneously opening a shift and attempting to work with the same key on multiple software PROs leads to technical errors (in particular, ShiftAlreadyOpened).
Question 10: when should cashiers' keys be registered with the tax office?
Answer: if several cashiers work at the enterprise or several cash registers operate simultaneously, each employee must have their own QES. This key is registered in the DPS electronic cabinet using the 5-PRRO form. During the sale, the full name of the specific cashier who performed the transaction will be printed on the receipt.
Question 11: is it possible to work without cashiers' keys if there is only one cash register in the store?
Answer: yes. If you have one cash register and one store, you can use the personal key of the director (sole trader) in the program.
Question 12: how to properly organize the shift work of two or more cashiers on one cash register using a software PRO?
Answer: in order for each cashier to legally issue fiscal receipts on their own behalf, each employee must have their own qualified electronic signature (QES), which is pre-registered with the tax office via the 5-PRRO form. In Torgsoft, a personal card is created for each seller in the Settings → Employee menu, where on the "Software PRO" tab, their personal key file is uploaded and the password is entered.
For the program to understand exactly who is conducting the sale right now, there are several setting options:
If a specific employee is defined in the settings and their electronic signature is added to their card, the program will automatically use this exact signature for fiscalization, and the full name of this cashier will be printed on the software PRO receipt.
Question 13: how to sell goods on behalf of two different sole traders (enterprises) from one cash register (one workplace)?
Answer: Torgsoft allows you to set up the operation of several software PROs from different sole traders on one computer. To avoid confusion and mistakes by sellers, the software PRO must be strictly "tied" to a specific enterprise. This is done either in the settings of the workplace itself (the table linking the PRO and the enterprise) or in the Enterprise card on the "Software PRO" tab.
The most automated and secure way to work with two sole traders is to activate the setting "Link the product type to the enterprise and divide the sale by it". If this setting is enabled:
Question 14: how is it determined which enterprise (software PRO) the payment will pass through and the receipt will be printed from, if the client pays in cash or via a bank terminal?
Answer: the logic for determining the software PRO depends on the form of payment:
Important nuance regarding personnel control: on the payment form, it is technically possible to manually change the payment enterprise and, accordingly, print the receipt on another software PRO. However, so that sellers do not confuse the fiscal registrars and do not carry out fraud, this function for the "Seller" role is disabled by default. You can open or close this access in the Settings → Parameters → Role → Sale menu using the switch "Allowed to change the enterprise when paying for a sale".
