Preparing to count
Select the accounting center and decide which goods and shelves you will check. Before you begin, coordinate goods movement with the cash register and warehouse so that sales and new deliveries do not affect the count. Check that the scanner reads labels and that product cards have the correct codes and units of measure.
Checking stock
Scan each item and enter its actual quantity. After checking the area, review unrecognized codes, duplicates, and major discrepancies; recount items if needed. Only after reconciling the figures, record the stocktaking results and prepare the required stock adjustment documents. The 2012 video shows the old interface; the current instructions describe the up-to-date procedure for using the scanner.
