Stocktaking is needed to compare the actual quantity of goods in a store with the recorded stock levels. First, select the accounting center and the goods to count, then create an inventory statement. You can count with a scanner, transfer results from a printed statement, or upload data from a data collection terminal. The method depends on whether the store is operating during the stocktake and what equipment is available.
This video is from 2019. The program’s design has changed considerably, and it has gained more features. However, the operating principles of many modes have stayed the same or are very similar. We are updating the knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been exclusively in Ukrainian.
How to conduct a stocktake
After counting, check the quantities in the statement and any discrepancies with the records. Closing the statement brings stock levels in line with the actual quantity: surpluses are received into stock, and shortages are written off. If you keep records for several businesses, check which business the statement was created for. Button names in the old video may differ from those in the current version of the program.
