This video is from 2019. The program’s design has changed significantly, and it has more features. However, the way many functions work has stayed the same or remains very similar. We are updating the knowledge base and video lessons. Since 2022, videos have been available only in Ukrainian.

A role defines the actions available

Torgsoft has standard roles for salespeople, product specialists, accountants, and other employees. The owner can change which menu items, work forms, and editing forms are available to each role. First, list what the employee needs to do in their position: make sales, process returns, receive goods, or view reports. Give the role only the actions needed for these tasks. After saving, check them using the employee’s account: seeing a menu item does not always mean they can access all related forms.

User and employee

The user card is where you set the login, password, role, and current accounting center. Additional restrictions determine whether the user can see purchase prices, other warehouses, and financial data. The employee card is used to track a specific person’s work; it can be linked to a user. Do not use a shared login for several employees if you need to track their actions. The 2019 video shows older screens, so check command names and permissions against the current help documentation.
