Why the activated features loading error appears
The error «Failed to load the list of activated features» or options is quite common and is most often related to damaged or incorrectly read system configuration files of the program.
The activated features loading error may be related to the program service files and the licensing infrastructure, so deeper actions should be performed carefully. Replacing Win.dat, AdminServer.ini, or AdminServer.bak files on your own without understanding their purpose may cause new startup errors or loss of part of the configuration. Before making any changes in the program directory, first perform safe checks: restart the program, restart the services, and check free disk space. If the problem persists, it is better to entrust the recovery of service files to technical support or a system administrator.
To solve this problem, follow these steps:
1. Main solution: replacing the Win.dat file
The main cause of the error is damage to the Win.dat file. You need to open the directory or folder where the Torgsoft program is installed and replace this file with a correct working one.
2. Configuring the AdminServer.ini file
In many cases, together with replacing Win.dat, you also need to fill in or correct the configuration files AdminServer.ini and AdminServer.bak in the program folder.
3. Restarting the program
After replacing and configuring these files, you must completely close and restart the Torgsoft program.
Additional actions if the problem persists:

Check free disk space. Sometimes this error occurs if the system drive, usually drive C, or the server has run out of free space. Try to free up space.

Access rights and antivirus. Make sure users have full access to the Torgsoft program directory. It is also worth checking whether the antivirus or Windows Defender has blocked the program executable files or licensing services.

Restarting services. In some cases, a forced restart of the license service (TorgsoftLicenseService), the application server, or SQL Server helps.
