Configuration of inventory tracking and label printing for jewelry

How to organize jewelry inventory accounting when items are sold individually but their price depends on weight and the price per gram?

 In this video, we show how to set up this type of accounting in Torgsoft and prepare a label with the information customers need.

Using jewelry as an example, we explain how to enable the «Accounting and sale of piece goods with measure» option, set the measure in grams for a product type, and receive the goods into inventory. You will see how to specify the actual weight of an item and the price per unit of measure so that Torgsoft calculates the final product price.

We also show how to add a separate «Fineness» characteristic for jewelry and display it on the label together with the weight and other product information.

A separate part of the video is dedicated to working with the label template in FastReport: how to add the required fields, configure the display of weight, fineness, and price, remove decimal places from the price, save a new template, and preview the finished tag before printing.
