What the webinar shows
The 2014 recording combines sales from a mobile device, remote desktop viewing, and stocktaking with a scanner connected to a phone. These are different workflows: remote access opens a workstation on the tablet, while stock counts need to be added to an inventory record. Before starting, determine which operations are available to the employee and which database and accounting center they are working with.
How to check the process today
For a sale, verify the item, quantity, price, and payment before saving the document. For stocktaking, compare the results sent from the device with the actual quantity and the balances in the program. The old scanner connection and remote access methods shown in the video should not be treated as current requirements. Check current documentation for equipment compatibility, secure connections, and available mobile modes.
