Downloading prices to a new accounting center after transferring goods
Instructions for setting retail prices in a new warehouse or store if, after transferring goods, prices are missing.
When prices are not carried over after moving goods
You created a new accounting center and moved stock balances there, but when trying to sell goods or view a report, the prices are displayed as 0.00.

In the «Stock Status» form, the «Retail Price» (or «Selling Price») column contains zeros.

The product is scanned into a sales document, but the price is not filled in automatically.

Prices are available in the old store, but missing in the new one.
Why prices are not transferred together with stock balances
In Torgsoft, prices are stored individually for each accounting center. Simply moving the quantity of goods (stock balances) does not automatically copy prices unless synchronization is configured or a revaluation has been performed.
Solution
Choose one of the three methods depending on your business settings.
Method 1. How to upload prices via a file
Suitable if you need to copy prices from the old store to the new one once.

Log in to the program as a user with access rights.

Select the old accounting center (the source of prices) in the top menu.

Go to Merchandise Management — Selling Price.

Click the Send/Receive Information via File button.

Select Save All Selling Prices and save the file to your computer.

Change the current accounting center to the new one.

Open Merchandise Management — Selling Price again.

Click Send/Receive Information via File → Open Document from File.

Select the saved file. The prices will be set.
Method 2. How to enable price synchronization for a retail network
Suitable if prices must always be identical at all locations.

Go to Settings — Parameters — Retail Network.

Enable the switch Maintain identical prices at all retail outlets.

In the Central Accounting Object field, specify the store whose prices are the main ones.

Go to Settings — Retail Network.

Select the new accounting center and click Edit.

On the settings tab, enable the checkbox Allow price synchronization with the center.
Method 3. How to set prices during an internal transfer
Suitable if you are only planning to move goods using transfer documents.

Open the menu item Document — Internal Transfer and create a new document.

Add the required goods to the transfer document.

Set the required selling price for each product separately. To do this, select the product and click the «Change Price» action (or the «Edit» button). You can also simply double-click the product anywhere in the row. In the window that opens, manually specify the new price.

To have prices set automatically: in the settings of the receiving accounting center (the «Settings» tab), for the «Price formation during internal transfer...» field, select the rule «Always take the price from the sending accounting object».
How to check that the prices have been loaded

Switch to the new accounting center.

Go to Warehouse — Stock Status.

Check whether the Retail Price column is filled in.
What to check after loading prices

Cost calculation: after loading prices, run Analysis — Period — Cost Calculation so that reports display the correct profit.

Rounding: check the rounding settings for the new accounting center to avoid fractional cents.
If prices are zero after transferring goods, import prices via file or configure retail network synchronization. The product balance and its price are different entities in the database.
