Creating and Assembling Product Kits in Torgsoft

A kit combines several products into a set or package. In the Документ - Комплектація (Document - Kit Assembly) menu, you can define the kit contents, assemble it from warehouse stock, and review completed assemblies and disassemblies.

How to create and assemble a kit

1. Open Документ - Комплектація - Опис комплекту (Document - Kit Assembly - Kit Description) and click Створити комплект (Create Kit). Create a product card for the kit.
2. In the Комплектація та виробництво (Kit Assembly and Production) window, add the components. The Вибрати до складу (Select for Kit) button adds a product already in the catalog. For a new component, use Додати до складу (Add to Kit). Enter the quantity of each component in one kit.
3. Click Комплектувати (Assemble) and enter the number of kits. The program checks component availability, deducts the components, and receives the finished kits into stock. Defining the kit contents alone does not create stock for the finished kit.

The Комплектувати (Assemble) button creates a goods receipt without the kit's cost price filled in; it will appear after the cost price is recalculated. The Виробництво виробу (Produce Item) button creates a document with purchase prices and cost price, and lets you enter the actual component usage.

How to sell components separately

For a package that you sell both whole and by the unit, open its product card through Товарознавство - Повний перелік товарів і послуг (Product Catalog - Full List of Goods and Services). Use the Склад (Contents) button to add a product included in the package and enter the quantity. In the kit settings, allow disassembly. If needed, enable Показувати форму розукомплектації при реалізації товару (Show the disassembly form when selling a product): at checkout, the cashier can choose the entire kit or part of it.

How to unpack a package when receiving stock

In the product card, on the Комплектація (Kit Assembly) tab, you can choose to disassemble У поточний документ (In the current document) or Окремими документами (In separate documents). The first method is available for a package with one component: individual units appear directly in the receipt. The second creates a receipt for the package, its write-off, and a receipt for the components. For kits with several different products, only the second method is available.

Kit template and additional option

On the Шаблон комплекту (Kit Template) tab, you can save a standard kit configuration. When processing a sale, products from the selected template are added as separate line items.

A separate option, Виробництво: облік матеріалів і готової продукції (Production: materials and finished goods tracking), is available for tracking bills of materials, materials, and production operations. It is not required for ordinary kit assembly in the Документ - Комплектація menu.
