The version is determined by three parameters: the required functionality, the number of accounting centers, and the location of workplaces. For Start and Ultra, the number of workplaces determines the number of licenses. For Terminal, additional workplaces are connected to the server database.

Start is designed for one accounting center. For several accounting centers, internal transfers, wholesale trade, supplier orders, bonuses, and part of advanced analytics, the full version is required.
One or several cash desks
Torgsoft-Start can work on one computer or on several workplaces within one store. Computers are connected into a local network and connected to a shared database.
Each work computer requires a separate Torgsoft-Start license. If the store needs a second cash desk, the Start version can remain. Switching to Ultra is required when tasks appear that are not included in Start functionality.

Additional Torgsoft options can be connected to Ultra. For an online store, marketplaces, delivery, and other external services, the corresponding option is connected.

Each work computer requires a separate Torgsoft-Ultra license.

How Torgsoft-Terminal works
The program and database are located on a server. Cashiers, sellers, commodity managers, administrators, and the owner connect to the server via the internet.
Stores, warehouses, and the office work with one database. Users see information according to their access rights.
When Torgsoft-Terminal is needed
- stores are located in different premises or cities;
- the warehouse is located separately from the sales point;
- the office and stores work with a shared database;
- the manager or employees connect remotely;
- new workplaces need to be added centrally.
Server. The server can be placed in your own office, warehouse, or data center. For external placement, you can use a rented server.
Workplaces. An additional user is connected under the «Torgsoft: client connection to the terminal server» license.
Server infrastructure rental. If an entrepreneur needs to work on a remote server without purchasing their own server equipment, Torgsoft-Online can be used.
Unstable internet at the sales point. For terminal architecture, Torgsoft-Hybrid can be connected. The cash desk performs supported operations during a temporary loss of connection with the server. After the connection is restored, data is synchronized with the server database.

For mobile scenarios, the Torgsoft mobile app is used. To work with the program on remote server infrastructure, the remote Torgsoft-Online format can be used.
